Senior Front End Developer
Omaha, NE / Austin, TX / Fully-Remote
We are looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer to join our small, fully-remote, team to make an impact on our front-end development practices. We're creating something new from the ground-up. Your direct personal agency and impact on outcomes will be enormous.
What you will do
- Collaborate with other engineers, UX, and Product to create extensible and performant software that solves user problems.
- Contribute and lead in the implementation of various front-end technologies to address unique functionality and constraints.
- Help guide and mentor other team members
We could definitely use a genuine JS/Component practitioner on our team of broad, but very capable, full stack devs.
So far our architecture is Vue + Inertia driven from Laravel with Tailwind for css. Come on and take the wheel. Change our minds on approach, show us a vision - we have a ton of work to do and we need smart people to help establish great patterns.
The 'custom marketplace' topic sounds boring and non-world-changing but this is an interesting problem space with huge market validation and software challenges, particularly on the front end.
Qualifications
It's, admittedly, a pretty generic bullet list, but:
- Demonstrated proficiency in using reactive front-end technologies to solve difficult problems.
- 4+ years of experience in modern JS, CSS, HTML
- Experience building responsive front-ends that follow current best-practices and utilize modern web-api’s
- Ability to thrive in a self-directed agile environment in a fast-changing startup. You love a blank sheet of paper.
- Professional experience with Git workflows and CI/CD
- A practice of Test-driven development
Good to haves
- Our stack is Vue + Tailwind + Inertia + Laravel + Vapor (Serverless). Familiarity with any of those technologies, or an equivalent tech, are a big plus.
- Familiarity with AWS as a production environment
- We’re a startup – we'll take any skill you've got and put it to use.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our small, fully-remote, team. You will be working with a seasoned group to create something new from the ground-up. Your direct personal agency and impact on outcomes will be enormous. Back-end, front-end, Bow to Stern: it's in your wheelhouse.

- Contribute and lead in the implementation of various full-stack technologies while supporting and authoring an overall technical strategy.

Full Time
Project Manager
Omaha, NE / Austin, TX / Fully-Remote
We need somebody who really has their act together to help us with just about everything. Auctic is presently 100% software developers. Bonkers. Come help us steer this thing.
What you will do
- Manage customer-facing relationships and keep everybody's expectations in line. It's all fun and games until somebody asks "What's included in MVP?" and you get 10 different answers.
- Keep the ship on track and create organizational accountability.
- It's early in the business. If you see some aspect you want to tackle, then by all means tackle it.
This is very much a self-starter position with low role-definition but we know we need it, and we need the type of person who likes to impose order on complexity with little precise direction.
Realm of possible tasks range from project management to analysis to strategy to product work to helping with agile cadence. It depends on what you bring to the table.
Qualifications
- You know the difference between a Product Manager and a Project Manager and identify with both.
- You've worked with technical people enough to understand how it works, and not to get bowled over by technical details.
- Client-facing experience with an ability to communicate and manage progress
- You are ambitious, you want to be part of something, and you want a role with no dumb gatekeepers.
